I love seeing the mixed patterns. I had an event to go to, so I thought go bold! I have a pencil stripe skirt and my floral ruffle sleeve shirt. Why not?
I love pencil skirts, but I am self conscious because of my large bottom. I know tight clothing can be flattering, but I still like to cover my bottom. This time, I went with it. My black and grey pencil skirt is older from Target. Pencil skirts make my shape look so much better. It also helps to hid the tummy. If I would of had some spanx on, I think the tummy would have been better too.
As you know, I hate my flabby arms, so I like to keep them covered. Ruffled sleeves helps to them. I have written about my floral ruffle sleeve from Ross in the past.
I wore it with my wedges from Stein Mart, and felt great! My husband told me I looked amazing! When I get a compliment like that from my husband, I stand a little taller.
