Dry shampoo

Have you tried dry shampoo? I have not. I took advantage of Target’s beauty box (get yours here). It had 5 trial sizes of dry shampoo.

So, today I tried my first one… Dove Fresh Coconut dry shampoo. It is about $5 in stores.

So, here is me before (no filters at all, so me in all my glory):

Then I followed the directions:

1. Shake can

2. Spray lifted sections

3. Keep shaking can

4. Spray lifted sections

5. Brush hair

Easy enough!

So here are the results (and no filters still):

I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to use. It says it has a fresh coconut smell. When I smell the bottle, I can smell it. I did not smell the coconut smell as I was spraying my hair. I also cannot smell the tip of my head, so I have no clue if it smells like coconut.
It did itch a little in the beginning. My hair also did not feel silky smooth like when it was oily, but that is only where I sprayed the shampoo.

Overall I am a fan. I can’t wait to try the other brands.
