I used to wear black. Black everything. I stayed away from color. I might add some color here or there, but mostly black (and jeans). I still live black, don’t get me wrong. I am jsut attempting to add fun colors into my wardrobe. I got these pants from NY and Company. Of course they were on sale, and are no longer available. The fabric is not slimming, and shows my thighs more than I am comfortable with. But, life is about stepping out of my comfort zone. These pants are way out!!! Tight, white, floral pants! Oh my! To tell the truth, I like them. They are cute, and they are comfortable! What I don’t like is myself. I am working on liking myself. When you love yourself, it shows in everything. Happiness comes from within. I hope my happiness shows today.
I pair my new pants with an older pink overlay shirt from Stein Mart. I have worn this shirt with many outfits. It is light and airy, and feels great on.
Jewelry is not something I am huge on. I got the pink tassel earrings from Claire’s ar my daughter’s birthday party. Maybe they are a little young, but I enjoyed wearing them. Many people complimented me on them, so I feel they were nice.
Self love is still a work in progress! In the meantime, I feel pretty!
