We recently had another heat wave. It has been hot. I really wasn’t feeling like getting dressed today. I really wanted to just wear a tee and cut offs. But we had a church event. So, I went with a white tee (that I didn’t realize was so wrinkled until I wrote this blog) and my palazzo pants. Palazzo pants basically means wide leg pants with a nice cooler material. You will not see palazzo pants in wool. They are also made to look almost like a skirt.
Also, yes that is my dog in the background. Murphy wanted to join in the fun. He is getting up there in years, and he will only go outside if we go outside.
I look at pictures of me, and wonder what other people think of me. Many days I do not like my look. Then there are some days, I feel like I am okay. Many days I am so overwhelmed with jut life that I do not focus on myself.
I am adding color to my life. I am learning to love myself, and to take care of myself. Many times I put other people first, and I put myself last. I think in the past I used my clothes to hide. Some days I still do. Some days I am not. Each day at a time. Life is about living not hiding!
